I know that anything you put in the water as electrolyte releases byproducts, but without a "resonator" ("pulsing" electronic device) it's difficult to acheive HHo gas from water by DC without using A LOT of power - and I'm no rocket sientist with electronics... I made this video only to demonstrate to a friend how drilled plates worked. No measurements, no goals, no calculations on it.

While I was working on these, I ran a couple experiments: Could a small solar panel power hydrolysis to produce hydrogen and oxygen? How much power does a solar light produce from its solar panel?
