This film is known for its soundtrack, written and produced by soul singer Curtis Mayfield . Super Fly is one of the few films ever to have been outgrossed by its soundtrack. Some critics believe the film's glorification of drug dealers serves to subtly critique the civil rights movements failure to provide better economic opportunities for black America and that the portrayal of a black community controlled by drug dealers serves to highlight that the initiatives of the civil rights movement were far from fully accomplished. • Return to the Old School! Hong Kong's New Martial Arts Cinema at NYAFF 2010 After 2009's film, IP MAN, became a massive box office hit, savvy Hong Kong producers, eager to make a buck, unleashed a whole wave of old school martial arts films that went back to basics: no CGI, no fancy wire work, no fakery. Instead, they were all about blazing hand-to-hand combat, hard-falling stuntmen and lightning fast kung fu. In conjunction with the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office New York, this year's NYAFF features a special focus on Hong Kong's new wave of old school kung fu. The line-up includes Jackie Chan's latest movie, LITTLE BIG SOLDIER; a rollicking action comedy starring a gallery of old school greats like Bruce Leung and Chen Kuan-tai, GALLANTS; an encore presentation of the IP MAN, the movie that started it all, and IP MAN 2 which has become the number one Asian movie of 2010, out-grossing even Bollywood's biggest hits at the box office. There's also Hong Kong's major 2009 blockbuster, BODYGUARDS & ASSASSINS, which we're screening with DEVELOPMENT HELL, a behind-the-scenes peek at the making of this legendary "cursed" production; the cracked and crazy cooking kung fu flick, KUNG FU CHEFS; and the totally mad throwback to visually bonkers Hong Kong comic books of the 70's, THE STORM WARRIORS.

  • Batman Forever died in Mozambique - Africa Batman Forever is a 1995 American superhero film directed by Joel Schumacher and produced by Tim Burton. It is the third installment of the Batman film series and stars Val Kilmer as Batman. The plot focuses on Batman trying to stop Two-Face (Tommy Lee Jones) and the Riddler (Jim Carrey) in their villainous scheme to drain information from all the brains in Gotham City. He gains allegiance from psychiatrist Chase Meridian (Nicole Kidman) and orphaned ward Dick Grayson (Chris O'Donnell). The film had a change in tone compared to the previous installments, more family-friendly, since Warner Bros. considered that the previous film, Batman Returns, underperformed at the box office due to its violence and dark overtones. Production was troubled, with many actors considered for the main roles, and Kilmer entering in conflicts with the director and the rest of the crew. Batman Forever received mixed reviews upon release, but was a success with audiences, out-grossing Batman Returns with over $336 million worldwide and becoming the second-highest grossing film of 1995. This short video is a joke and was recorded in Manhiça - Mozambique - Africa. Please, enjoy it. I created this video at

  • Phantom of the Opera (instrumental) The Phantom of the Opera (in French, Le Fantôme de l'Opéra) is a French novel by Gaston Leroux. It was first published as a serialization in Le Gaulois from September 23, 1909 to January 8, 1910. Some believe it to have been inspired by George du Maurier's Trilby but actually it is based on factual related incidents to the Paris Opera House which Leroux investigated initiated by stories of the opera house ghost. Initially, the novel sold very poorly and was even out of print several times during the twentieth century. Today, it is considered to be a classic of French literature, though it is overshadowed by its many subsequent adaptations. The novel was translated into English in 1911. It has since been adapted many times into film and stage productions, the most notable of which were the 1925 film depiction and Andrew Lloyd Webber's 1986 musical, starring Michael Crawford as the Phantom, Steve Barton as Raoul, and Sarah Brightman as Christine, which is now the longest running Broadway show in history and the most lucrative entertainment enterprise of all time, its worldwide box office over the past 20 years out-grossing even the highest grossing film in history, Titanic.

He gains alliance from psychiatrist Chase Meridian (Nicole Kidman) and adopted sidekick Dick Grayson (Chris O'Donnell). The film had a change in tone compared to the previous installments, more family-friendly, since Warner Bros. considered that the previous film, Batman Returns, underperformed at the box office due to its violence. Production was troubled, with many actors considered for the main roles, and Kilmer entering in conflicts with the rest of the crew. Batman Forever was released to mixed reviews, but outgrossed Returns with over $336 million worldwide. Graphics: 5/5 great graphics that are digitized. Good animations, and really looks great on the SNES and Genesis. Gameplay: 2/5 gameplay is not unplayable like action 52, but it sure as hell is boring and the going up and down between floors is annoying as hell. Its nearly impossible on the sega genesis version. Music: 3.8/5 the music is good but not epic like other games that are great. Its just a rushed title so ...
