A while back I used to be 65kg (143lbs) at 6'2" which isn't very good, not good at all. Started training at home and manage to go up to 71kg in a few months which i was happy with. After that i didn't train for over a year due to being at uni and managed to maintain my weight but i still felt too lanky. So i began to do research and develop a somewhat solid understanding of muscle building and appropriate diets, workout systems and a diet that works for an ectomorph. Using what i found, i was able to get upto 81kg (178lbs) in about 4 months which i think is pretty good. So i guess i thought i'd make a vid of my progress so far to inspire those ectomorphs and hardgainers out there that need a little extra motivation, Keep up the good work.

  • Lean to Mean Ectomorph Transformation, Part One: Muscle May (30 days) Muscle May is the first part of a four month bodybuilding experiment: Lean to Mean. What we're doing is trying to pack on lean muscle mass in the most efficient way that we can, and learn as much as possible during the process. We're experimenting with many different workout and diet approaches to see what works best. We've looked into Arthur Jones, Anthony Ellis, Timothy Ferris, Sean Nalewanyj, Mike Mentzer, Vince Delmonte and JP Clifford. Many of their approaches conflict with one another though, making the research process quite challenging. We're really pleased with our results but we know we still have a long way to go and a lot more research and experimentation to do. We've already made several changes for our next video segment, Jacked Julune, which takes place in June and July.
